Salvador and the All Saints Bay keep stories of a time of suffering and overcoming: human slavery. The sigh of pain of the slaves can still be felt in the atmosphere of houses and mansions erected between the XVI and XIX centuries in the Old Salvador and surroundings, from the colonial period until the end of the empire. At the same time, the north coast is formed by ocean beaches, dunes and rivers.
